Obviously..I am new to the busy-mom forums.

I am Jennifer. I am a Stay at Home Mom.
I used to doodle houses for a living. Then changed courses and decided to go to the funeral industry, to help others in their times of grief and sorrow.

Now, I am a stay at home mommy, I do fundraising for Childrens transplant organizations, a local hospital, and spediatric hospice. I have an Etsy shop where I sell my art/creations. I love to draw, write, sing, walk, play with my kids, and then some...

I have four children:
Sebastian 11 years old
Othello forever 2 (6/23/02 ~ 7/1/04)
Maynard 21 months
Atreyu 21 months

Well, I am a multi-tasker!!

I am currently: typing in these forums. Promoting my Etsy shop. Nursing toddler twins (it is funny really how I am contorted). and trying to Instant message a friend who I am coordinating a Toy Donation pick up with..

phew. I need a nap

hahaha that is hilarious! I would never be able to do it! I am going crazy with one toddler!

Luckily, they like to nurse and run!! Today, they are entertaining each other quite well. I have actually been able to be on the computer for more than 5 minutes!! This is a record!!

Welcome to the forum. I tired after reading all that you are involved in. You nurse your twin toddlers! That is so awesome. I made it to 18 months (last month) with my little guy. I just have to ask are from Jacksonville, FL or Jacksonville, NC? I ask because I am from Jax, FL.

Awwww, sorry to get your hopes up. Not quite a local anymore. My hubby is in the Army so we got moved to Maryland. But we're crossing our fingers that with his new job that they will allow us to go back home to Jax within the next year or two. I lived there for over 14 years. I miss it very much, but I get to go back and visit a lot since my family and friends are there.

I have been to Riverside a few times. Mainly drove through it when I worked in City Hall. I loved going to Five Points when I got the chance.

Anyone who was / is a local is awesome by me!! (not to say that non-locals aren't..because they are just as cool!)

I grew up in 5 points. We are close to the same age... Who knows, maybe we have some common IRL friends/acquaintances.

I have noticed there is a definate 6 degrees of seperation that you can play with a Jax native..and eventually end up back to yourself!!

Hopefully you can come "home" soon. It is probably a LOT warmer here than Md.

I can't stand snow for the life of me...thank goodness we haven't got any yet. I miss having a 25-30 minute trip to the beach. The nearest beach from us is 3 1/2 hours away! I neglected to take advantage of that more often when I lived there. We are practically shut-ins in the winter.

ugh.

I do not frequent the beach. ( I am pale as a ghost and sun turns me into a lobster!)

But, I LOVE the amount of parks here. You go a few blocks.. you find a park!! SCORE!
